Conducting pre-operative patient assessments, ensuring correct patient and procedure identification, managing the environment outside the sterile field, documenting intraoperative care, communicating between sterile and non-sterile team members, and supporting the recovery of used supplies and specimens.
Active RN licensure, CNOR certification preferred, and 2+ years of perioperative nursing experience. ASC-specific experience and familiarity with multiple surgical specialties are particularly valuable.
