Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, designing and managing data warehouses and lakes (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift), implementing data quality monitoring, optimising query performance, collaborating with analysts and data scientists on data modelling, and managing data infrastructure as code.
Strong SQL, Python or Scala, experience with at least one modern cloud data platform, and familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Prefect, etc.). Experience designing schemas for analytical workloads and building pipelines that handle real-world data quality issues differentiates strong from adequate candidates.
